Le Negresco
The French art de vivre (“art of living”) is on full display at the illustrious Hotel Negresco, set along Nice’s Promenade des Anglais. So too is an impressive collection of more than 6,000 artworks, whose creators range from the 17th-century baroque master Rigaud to the modern sculptor Niki de Saint Phalle. The pink-domed hotel — a national historic monument — features 125 accommodations, each furnished with pieces from various French periods. The city’s finest restaurant, the two-Michelin-star Le Chantecler, with its Chef Virginie Basselot, features a 15,000-bottle wine cellar. Guests can lounge on the nearby private beach.
The Deluxe Sea View Rooms are lavish and offer absolutely mesmerizing views of the Baie des Anges.
